Info: We welcome you to the states’ oldest winery, where we have married our family’s time-honored old-world tradition with the latest new world technology. Learn the science and art of fine winemaking in a casual and fun atmosphere. Take a guided tour of the entire winemaking process, from the delicate crushing of vine-ripened fruits to the methodical bottling of the finished wines. Feel free to wander through 60 acres of lush estate vineyards. We invite you to taste the full range of our award-winning grape and pure fruit wines in our meticulously restored 19th century peg barn. Whether your tasting occurs in our gracious Chambourcin Tasting Room with its black walnut timbers or upstairs in our elegant Abisso Banquet Hall, our knowledgeable staff will help in selecting your favorite wines for your own table. We also offer an assortment of gift items including shirts, baskets, glasses, and wine accessories to remember your visit. |

Linganore Dry White Partial Wine List
We are pleased to present you with a variety of wines for every taste and occasion. Our wines are broken down into three basic categories. First explore the Grape Wines, move on to the Fruit Wines and finish off with a selection from our Specialty Wines list which includes our highly regarded Medieval Mead and Tej honey wines. Below is a partial list of our Dry White Wines.
CHARDONNAY: 0% residual sugar
Our Maryland Chardonnay is harvested in Queen Anne’s County at the Hemsley Fortune Vineyard. This barrel fermented dry white is lightly oaked with hints of citrus, vanilla and pear.
Serving Suggestions: Perfect with seafood and chicken. Serve chilled.
WHITE RAVEN: 1% residual sugar
ESTATE BOTTLED. Produced as a Pinot Grigio, this wine is a soft, crisp, fruity, off dry dinner wine.
Serving Suggestions: Serve with crab cakes, sharp cheeses and appetizers. Serve chilled.
FOX HUNT BLUSH: 2% residual sugar
This wine is light and off dry. Great for casual entertaining or dinner.
Serving Suggestions: Serve with appetizers, fruit or lamb. Serve chilled.
TERRAPIN WHITE: 3% residual sugar
Produced as a dinner Riesling, this wine is off dry with a soft fruit background. Aged in stainless steel.
Serving Suggestions: Serve with pork, poultry, seafood and sharp cheeses. Serve chilled. |
